Session Records Review

The Stated Clerk is responsible for the review of session records on behalf of the presbytery. The Book of Order requires sessions to have their session and congregational minutes, rolls and registers reviewed by presbytery annually.

The dates and locations of reviews for 2008 are:

- Saturday, March 15th, John Calvin Church, Bridgeton, 10:00 to 3:00
(includes training on electronic rolls and registers, lunch included at noon for $5.00 if you make a reservation )

- Sunday, April 13th, First Church, Sullivan MO, 3:00-5:00

- Sunday, June 8th, First Church, Edwardsville, Illinois, 3:00 to 5:00

- Thursday, August 21st, Farmington Church, 10:00-12:00
*This review is during the stated meeting of presbytery.

Clerks and/or Moderators may attend any review at your convenience. Please phone Judy in the Stated Clerk's office at 314.772.2395 x112 to make a reservation at least one week before the review you will be attending. Bring all minutes since the last review (there will be a blue stamped mark in the minutes to indicate the last review) and the congregation's membership rolls and registers. Everyone attending participates in reviewing the records of their colleagues. It's educational!
