Session Records Review

The Stated Clerk is responsible for the review of session records (Minutes, Rolls and Registers) on behalf of the presbytery. The Book of Order requires sessions to have their session and congregational minutes, rolls and registers reviewed by presbytery annually.

The dates and locations of reviews for 2011 are:

Sunday, May 22nd, First Church, 285 E Springfield Rd., Sullivan, Missouri from 3:00 to 5:00;

Sunday, June 5th, First Church, 237 N Kansas, Edwardsville, Illinois, from 3:00-5:00;

Sunday, June 26th, Southminster Church, 10126 E Watson Rd, Crestwood, Missouri, from 3:00 to 5:00;

Sunday, August 21st, Westminster Church, 1820 Perry Rd, CapeGirardeau, Missouri from 3:00-5:00.

LAST CHANCE!
Sunday, September 11th, Faith Des Peres Church, 11155 Clayton Road, Frontenac, Missouri, from 3:00 to 5:00.

Clerks, Session members, and/or Moderators may attend any review at your convenience. Please phone Judy in the Stated Clerk's office at 314.772.2395 x112 to make a reservation at least one week before the review you will be attending.

Bring all minutes since the last review (there will be a blue stamped mark in the minutes to indicate the last review) and the congregation's membership rolls and registers. Everyone attending participates in reviewing the records of their colleagues. It's educational!
