CHURCHWIDE GATHERING

RIVER OF HOPE

"There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the Most High.

God is in the midst of the city' it shall not be moved; God will help it when the morning dawns."                   Psalm 46:4-5

The 2012 ChurchWide Gathering will be in Orlando's Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center. Under this one roof, you will find restaurants, shops and the abundant meeting and sleeping rooms PW needs for a wonderful event! You can take advantage of Orlando as a family destination. PW's special convention room rate at the hotel will apply three days before and after the Gathering to allow you to extend your stay. All are welcome. Shuttles and taxis are available to help you explore local attractions.

Registration opens January 15, 2012. Look for the registration booklet in your September/October 2011 issue of Horizons. If you don't receive the Horizons PW magazine you can order a registration book (item CWG12001) from PDS at 800-524-2612 (available September 2011), or visit www.presbyterianwomen.org/gathering. Scholarships are available for registration.

CHANGE IS GOOD!

Your Coordinating Team decided to do something a little different for the Winter Gathering of our Presbytery this year.  Instead of one Presbytery-wide Gathering during a time when weather conditions in the area are “iffy” to say the least, we are having “cluster” gatherings in which groups or clusters of churches get together in smaller, more intimate, groups to meet and share and worship together, in most cases a little closer to home. If you are interested in holding these smaller "cluster gatherings" contact your cluster communicator.
