Mound Ridge Camp and Retreat CenterMound Ridge Camp and Retreat Center, nestled in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri on a bend of the Meramec River, is located in Crawford County between the communities of St. James and Steelville, two miles south of Missouri Route 8 on Mound Ridge Road. Mound Ridge is a 370 acre camp and retreat center owned and operated by the Presbytery of Giddings-Lovejoy of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A). Mound Ridge is a year-round retreat and camping center that is managed by the Presbytery's Resourcing and Equipping Ministry Team. The mission of Mound Ridge is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to respond positively to the ministry and person of Jesus Christ, grow in their relationship with God and one another, and increase their appreciation and understanding for the beautiful natural world around them. The Presbytery operates Mound Ridge to: Our goal is to provide a nurturing Christian experience for youth and adults as a caring community within a natural environment. We encourage all age groups from churches and related organizations to utilize the facilities and natural surroundings of the Mound Ridge camp.
