Vision Team and Giddings-Lovejoy Presbytery Moderator
Ruling Elder J Mike Willock
The Vision Team has 11 members and is made up of the moderator from each of the four ministry teams, a representative from the Committee on Representation/Nominations, and the following officers/staff: Moderator, Past Moderator, Vice Moderator, Stated Clerk, Treasurer and the Presbytery Leader. The moderator of the Presbytery acts as the moderator of the Vision Team. The Vision Team will operate like the Leadership team of the Presbytery.
Each team works collaboratively across their areas to generate and be accountable for goals toward developing overall dynamic leadership in our Presbytery. Goals and milestones that they establish will be reviewed at Vision Team meetings providing a measurable system for focus, effectiveness and accountability. Each team leader is free to create their own “sub-teams” to handle the workload of their responsibilities.

Committee on Representation/Nomination Moderator
Teaching Elder, Rev. Miriam Foltz
This team, that is fully elected by the Presbytery, ensures that the new design approved and adopted in February 2016, has freedom for each elected Teaching or Ruling Elder convener to assemble their own sub-team as they see fit for the responsibilities of their position. The sub-teams of each convener, moderator, or commission can be made of anyone identified as having particular gifts and creativity toward a given task. In encouraging all Presbyterians to become involved in service to the larger church body, CoR/N welcomes youth, Deacons, or simply members with a heart to serve to become involved in this exciting new mission driven leadership design.
There is a review by CoR/N, of each ministry sub-team, to ensure diversity is adhered to, as much as each team is able.
